Admissions for either long-term care or short-term rehabilitation at Mary Health of the Sick is through a process that evaluates nursing and clinical factors.
Mary Health continuously reviews policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality care and service. Mary Health’s Administration Team addressed the purpose of maintaining a very long waiting list of prospective residents. The outcome of this review determined we will better serve our neighbors, communities and hospital partners by reviewing applications as care is needed. As of May 31, 2019, we are no longer accepting applications for the waiting list. If you have any questions, please call us at 805-498-3644 or email [email protected]
Each resident is given care based on his/her diagnosis and individual needs. An interdisciplinary team, consisting of members from all departments, assesses each resident upon admission and every three months thereafter. Both the resident and his/her responsible party are invited to attend these assessment sessions. In addition to the Sisters who work at the hospital, Mary Health of the Sick employs more than 85 professional men and women. The employees work in various capacities and are intent on ensuring that the mission of the Sisters flourishes throughout the hospital.
At this time, we are not offering tours of the hospital. If you have questions or need information, please call the Business Office at (805) 498-3644 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (updated 1/4/2024)
