We are honored to announce our guest Celebrities, Gary Sinise, special guest speaker, who will share his work in movies, theater, TV and philanthropy and Patricia Heaton as our master of ceremonies, Tom Dressen will engage our guests with his amazing comedy and Steve Amerson, America’s Tenor, will perform a variety of songs. We invite you to join us for a memorable evening of entertainment and exciting silent and live auctions as we come together to support the mission of Care and Compassion at Mary Health of the Sick. Mary Health is honored to announce Dr. Krumian, Family Practice Physician in Westlake Village, as our newest Board of Regents member. Dr. Krumian's personal philosophy is to provide individualized care that promotes overall wellness, and not to simply treat illness when it occurs. He strives to consider the whole person, each with distinctive physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cultural characteristics. This philosophy is a perfect fit with the mission of the Sisters, Servants of Mary. Dr. Krumian has an extensive list of credentials, honors, awards and affiliations. We are thrilled to have Dr. Krumian join our dynamic team of individuals serving on the Mary Health Board of Regents.
Our 19th Annual Spring Luncheon 2016 fundraising event was another huge success. We are truly grateful to everyone who participated in creating a beautiful and entertaining event. Cabrillo Music Theatre's talented and interactive performance brought our entertainment enjoyment to the next level. Our unique vendor's provided an excellent shopping experience as our guests were entertained by our talented emcee Jerry Weisbecker. The Royal Kona Trip Raffle was an exciting new element and George and Rosemary went away very happy with the winning ticket! We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Hogan and Hawaiian Hotel and Resorts for donating our Trip raffle. This year our lovely centerpiece raffle proceeds went to the purchase of new wheelchairs for the residents. Our hospital administrator Shideh Afshar shared a touching story creating a clear picture of the love given at Mary Health and the reason why we all attend this beautiful event. Its about the residents. We love our sponsors, guests, vendors, volunteers and entertainers. We thank each of you for making this annual Spring luncheon a fundraising success which furthers the mission of The Sisters, Servants of Mary in providing high quality healthcare to the frail, elderly and terminally ill of all faith backgrounds. For 52 years the Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick have carried-out an enduring mission of providing the highest quality and compassionate care to the frail, elderly, poor and terminally ill of all faith backgrounds. Throughout our history, hundreds of donors, volunteers, community business and foundations have been by our side assisting the Sisters’ with their devoted work.

Our event features unique vendor shopping, live entertainment, fine wines, silent auction, Trip raffle to Kona Hawaii donated by the Hogan Family Foundation and much more.Ticket Sales begin in February 2016.
The Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick were founded on August 15, 1851, in Madrid, Spain by Saint Maria Soledad Torres Acosta. Today 1,628 Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick are dedicated to serving the sick in 115 convents in 22 countries around the world. Mary Health of the Sick Newbury Park has served over 4,000 residents since 1964. Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park is independently funded.
A beautiful evening honoring the mission of the Sisters, Servants of Mary. Guests enjoyed a red carpet entry, appetizers and cocktails with entertainment from Jerry Weisbecker of Memory Lane Music. Guests entered the ballroom to Academy award winning musical tributes of The Angel City Big Band led by Tim Miller. We wish to thank our honoree's for their dedicated service to Mary Health.
The 18th Annual 100 Club Spring Luncheon, "Our Fair Ladies" will be held at the lovely Sherwood County Club, on March 26th, 2015. The luncheon supports Mary Health’s mission of Care and Compassion to the frail, elderly and terminally ill.
The Sisters, Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick are honored to announce a 50th Anniversary Celebration. The doors of Mary Health opened in 1964 and through the loving kindness and generosity of our benefactors, volunteers, foundation grantors and community businesses and charitable organizations, the Sisters have ministered to the needs of over 4,300 residents and their family members.
Our theme this year is “Spring back to the 1920’s” Prepare to be dazzled by time period performances by the Chaminade Players, shop our wonderful boutique with new and exciting vendors, visit with friends and support the wonderful mission at Mary Health of the Sick.
