The Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick were founded on August 15, 1851, in Madrid, Spain by Saint Maria Soledad  Torres Acosta. 

Today 1,628 Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick are dedicated to serving the sick in 115 convents in 22 countries around the world.

Mary Health of the Sick Newbury Park has served over 4,000 residents since 1964.  Mary Health of the Sick in Newbury Park is independently funded.
