Mary Health is honored to announce Dr. Krumian, Family Practice Physician in Westlake Village, as our newest Board of Regents member. Dr. Krumian's personal philosophy is to provide individualized care that promotes overall wellness, and not to simply treat illness when it occurs. He strives to consider the whole person, each with distinctive physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cultural characteristics. This philosophy is a perfect fit with the mission of the Sisters, Servants of Mary. Dr. Krumian has an extensive list of credentials, honors, awards and affiliations. We are thrilled to have Dr. Krumian join our dynamic team of individuals serving on the Mary Health Board of Regents.
Our 19th Annual Spring Luncheon 2016 fundraising event was another huge success. We are truly grateful to everyone who participated in creating a beautiful and entertaining event. Cabrillo Music Theatre's talented and interactive performance brought our entertainment enjoyment to the next level. Our unique vendor's provided an excellent shopping experience as our guests were entertained by our talented emcee Jerry Weisbecker. The Royal Kona Trip Raffle was an exciting new element and George and Rosemary went away very happy with the winning ticket! We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Hogan and Hawaiian Hotel and Resorts for donating our Trip raffle. This year our lovely centerpiece raffle proceeds went to the purchase of new wheelchairs for the residents. Our hospital administrator Shideh Afshar shared a touching story creating a clear picture of the love given at Mary Health and the reason why we all attend this beautiful event. Its about the residents. We love our sponsors, guests, vendors, volunteers and entertainers. We thank each of you for making this annual Spring luncheon a fundraising success which furthers the mission of The Sisters, Servants of Mary in providing high quality healthcare to the frail, elderly and terminally ill of all faith backgrounds.
