At Mary Health, our volunteers are highly valued and considered one of our greatest treasures. We believe in providing a variety of opportunities for individuals to get involved and make a difference. Here are some ways you can volunteer with us:
Visit one-on-one with residents: Spend quality time with our residents, engaging in conversations and providing companionship.
Lead or assist with activities: Help organize and participate in activities such as cards, bingo, crossword puzzles, exercise sessions, sing-a-longs, and more.
Read mail and story books: Assist residents by reading their mail or story books, providing them with entertainment and companionship.
Help with arts and crafts: Engage in creative activities with residents, such as painting, drawing, or making crafts.
Take part in the holiday boutique and special events: Assist in organizing and participating in special events and holiday boutiques, bringing joy and excitement to our residents.
Volunteer at the Merry Hall Tree Thrift Store: Contribute your time to help stock and merchandise items in our thrift store, as well as assist as a cashier.
Lead tours: Guide prospective residents and their families, as well as other visitors, on tours of our facility, providing them with valuable information and a warm welcome.
Serve on the Board of Regents: If you have leadership skills and experience, consider serving on our Board of Regents, providing guidance and support to our organization.
Help in other ways: We welcome any other ideas or skills you may have that can make a significant difference in the lives of our residents. Your unique contributions are highly valued.
We strive to match each volunteer with the perfect opportunity to serve, ensuring a fulfilling and rewarding experience for both our volunteers and our residents.
